Now, now, no evasive tactics, Sam please.

Your response to Andy clearly is about "David and co"

So over to you, why are my views "wrong" and "out of touch"

If you can't explain your point just say so. Alternatively we will all assume you can't explain your views if you just make evasive comments rather than answering the point being made.

As everyone can see, David made no response to Andy, but responds to my response to Andy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: he's obsessed with me and utterly irritated at the slightest criticism of Islam, which is, after all, a medieval, made-up story.

I stand with Muslim reformists, not the apologists.

More evasive tactics. You have clearly read my comments and I have stated that I think the cartoon is excellent. THat specifically answers Andy's point, "I am sure David & Co will enjoy it..."

Now putting aside your squirming evasiveness, over to you, Sam

As everyone knows who frequents this forum, I haven't been any any direct dialogue with David Johnson for nearly a year now and everyone knows the reason for my decision.

Calling me 'evasive' and being unable to explain my views if I do not reply to him, when he knows I won't reply to him, is dishonest and designed to mislead forumites. His actions on here just highlight the flaws in his character and confirm my views on him are correct.

I find it disgusting (an often overused word, but which I'm using in all sincerity here) that David will use the response and anger at the death of 12 innocent people as an opportunity to troll me. It's distasteful - but, sadly, all too predictable.

After the Paris attack the leaders of Europe's largest Muslim groups need to be told a simple message. Stop killing innocent people and remember freedom of speech is non negotiable. If they don't like that then send the fuckers to a big new town in the middle of Saudi....

It is unfair on those religious leaders to be responsible for other Muslims. They can be involved, and be helpful, in influencing how Muslims within their communities think but they cannot order Muslims around nor be accountable for anything they do.

I've just watched Newsnight on iPlayer and was fucking annoyed that they brought in a decent Muslim guy and asked him 'what British Muslims are thinking right now?', as if he's some sort of fucking guru or borg drone hooked up to the collective. The Muslim guy ought to have told him to fuck off.

Islam needs reform and, unfortunately, most community leaders are pretty conservative and traditionalist. That means Muslim reformists are nearly always up against the community leaders and thus the community themselves. This is why they need support from wider society (which I think should come from the liberal left). Instead we have a liberal left that either keeps quiet or utters the same, tiresome, predictable shit about tolerance and the need to be sensitive to other people's beliefs.......totally playing into the hands of traditionalist, conservative Muslims.

More moral outrage in response to someone who is simply being asked to explain why my view as expressed in this thread which is held by many, I suspect, is "wrong" and "out of touch"

WHy this blanket refusal to defend your views? What are you so terrified of?

More squirming evasiveness.

I am not the only person on this forum who may want to understand why people who hold views similar to mine are "wrong" and out of touch" according to you.

Why are you not prepared to defend your views to the forum?

Yet more questions from David about me, when this thread shouldn't be about me and he knows I will not engage with him due to his constant disingenuousness and, on a few occasions, outright bully tactics in trying to ostracise and turn other forumites against me.

Again: this thread isn't about me.

More incredible evasiveness.

I am merely asking you to explain what you posted. That is all. Why are you so terrified by explaining what you post?
