Well done, Sunderland

Post by David Johnson »

As a kid I used to stand on the terraces at Roker Park. What a great victory!

They were given no chance in terms of beating Utd. over two legs.

Fantastic that one of the little clubs are going to have their day at Wembley.

Mind you, that was the worst penalty shootout I have ever seen. My grandad could have done better.

Got to admit our office banter had Man U down to win 3 or 4 nil. Sunderland's fighting spirit was fantastic and begs the question why they are in a relegation battle.

Because they had such a bad start to the season (obviously).

"As a kid I used to stand on the terraces at Roker Park."

Sorry to hear that.

"They were given no chance in terms of beating Utd. over two legs."

That's what great about the Premiere League the bottom club can beat the top club.

"Fantastic that one of the little clubs are going to have their day at Wembley."

That's not a nice thing to say about Man City.

"Mind you, that was the worst penalty shootout I have ever seen. My grandad could have done better."

Agreed, assuming your grandad is alive and kicking.

The harder you cum. The more you enjoy it.

Well they seem much improved under Poyet. They have only lost one of their last eleven or so games in all competitions.

The problem is the likes of Crystal Palace seem to be doing better too. But with a bit of luck the good start they have made under Poyet will continue and they will drag themselves out of the relegation zone.
