Thatcher and Savile in Hell

Post by David Johnson »

Margaret Thatcher and Jimmy Savile are in Hell where Thatcher is trying to close down the furnaces as uneconomical as part of an ongoing rationalisation programme to balance the books.

Savile asks Thatcher "What you here for then?"

"Buggering miners".

"Me too."

Funny Dave, I seem to remember that joke from years ago.
Thing is, when I first heard it, it didn't involve Jim.
It was Owen Oyston, from your beloved b'pool f.c.

Owen Oyston is a wrong' un. Just because you like to see your local team do well, doesn't mean you support the owners.

Ask Blackburn fans!

Not having heard the joke before I rather like it.....
It strikes me as really funny that while half of Britain - based even on the
bgafd mob - are wishing to build museums to Thatcher`s memory and the
Telegraph coverage has been almost hysterical in its praise, as if the editor
is jacking off over pictures of the old girls while crying piteously at the
same time............others are holding street parties and singing "The Wicked
Witch Is Dead"!
This is clearly clearly a famous politician but also a terribly divisive one - and
it would be interesting to know what her eventual legacy might be 50-100
years on.

I also found it relatively funny when I first heard it, years ago.

It's just one of those jokes where you can insert the name of any topical paedo of the day;

Maggie and Jimmy Savile,
Maggie and Gary Glitter,
Maggie and Gentleman,
etc,etc.
