In her time in office Mrs Thatcher moved the state sector from coal and steel to quangos and local government.

She stayed in the EU and indeed took us further in.

She cut the armed forces.

She supported comprehensive schools and introduced the GCSE.

She attacked the legal rights of parents and empowered social workers.

She politicised the Civil Service.

She removed power from trade unions and gave it to unelected EU bureaucrats.

She politicised the police.

She swamped the police with paperwork and did nothing to put them back on the streets.

She did nothing to promote marriage.

Any of those not fit into the modern Labour Party?

Feel sorry for her family,but she ruined so many lives,destroyed so many communities. The country never recovered. Look around today,she may have won the political battles,but the price we are paying is massive.
