Do Cupid Dating websites use fake profiles?

I know we all like to think we?re immune to being conned by people on the Internet but there?s no harm spreading the word about sites which are seem very dodgy. So I thought I?d pass on this link to an interesting download in the BBC ?5 Investigates? series about Cupid plc which runs lots of dating websites like Benaughty.com and MatureDating.com and which, the programme suggests, might be using fake female profiles to get money from us single guys. Worth checking out:

You are buing sold the illusion of peole wanting sex. there are plenty people wanting sex but not many of those hotties in real life would advertise as they get hit on all the time anyway

I was shocked when i was in an office of a well known contact mag proprietor and website owner offering to buy pictures off me to use as contacts.

Me being a bit naive told him that they were porn stars and no one was ever going to fall for that. He proceeded to tell me that punters dont care because theyre smart enough to know the pics are not of the person advertising anyway.

Now I know why people think couples on my site are not real.

There is a certain "free" very well known dating sites that has probably half of its "profiles" as fakes.

Many adultwork profiles use fake pictures of glamour models too! Next time you buy your perfumed panties beware! They have probably been sent by Dave. An 18 stone lorry driver who wore them all day in his cab just for you hunny. They come with genuine glamour babe skid marks. !laugh!
