Doesn't he live in Loughton now? He's originally from Canning Town I believe.

Sad

If this pile of crap was the last film Richard Briers made, rather than the infinitely better (I'm told) 'Cockneys vs Zombies, what a sad epitaph to a great actor.

Its a sad indictment to the way things are right now Andy.

Say what you want but we've turned out some great films too here in Blighty. You cant have good without bad because its the bad when its really bad that makes the good so good. Some bad aint bad but when we're good we're soooo good !happy!

Lets not forget that Danny has been in some good films, notably for Nick Love with The Football Factory, The Business and Outlaw was good too.

Most actors have a few duds under their belt and given the scale of productions its not easy making good films Its even harder making great films.

I thought Dyer put his best ever performance in a tiny little cameo in Noel Clarke's Adulthood. Stole the show playing a "proper" hard nut in a 2 or 3 minute scene , but the film was brilliant as a whole.

Dyer's best film was, in my opinion, The Business. I love that film. "We're a long way from home..."
