Should've guessed David would have had something different than anyone else to say.
I sometimes think, David, that you just need something or someone to argue against. I'm not totally convinced that you always believe what you say. It's just that need to go against what everybody else is saying.
What do you think?

The altruist.
"Should've guessed David would have had something different than anyone else to say".
Does not in itself make me wrong.
"I sometimes think, David, that you just need something or someone to argue against. I'm not totally convinced that you always believe what you say."
I believe what I say in this thread and the vast majority of threads that I post in.
"It's just that need to go against what everybody else is saying".
Everybody else? I don't think so. Not even the "everybody else" posting on this thread.

Re: The hellhole that is Wokingham
This is more about people coming to Britain and ignoring our values and customs and proceeding to try and instill their own way of life into the rest of us.
Some people are trying to make Sharia law the law in Britain. Make us a Muslim population.
People in Britain aren't allowed to do anything, nowadays, in case it offends somebody who isn't British.
If you come to this country it's only right that you follow our customs. If it offends you then don't come. You wouldn't go to a Muslim country and eat pork in the middle of the street. They wouldn't stand for an insult to their values and sensibilities so why should we?

Its not for me to defend DJ as that's something he's quite capable of doing for himself but heaven forfend that he, or anyone else come to that, should have to keep quiet when confronted by shoddy 'journalism' in print or xenophobic, casually racist, conservative (with a small c), reactionary and often hateful comments on here. What makes you think he doesn't believe what he writes?

Because no matter what anybody posts on here nine times out of ten he'll argue with you.
It just seems to me that that's what he does. He argues just for the sake of it.
I really don't think the article was racist.

Re: The hellhole that is Wokingham
I don't believe anybody on here is xenophobic. Or makes racist comments.
When someone on here says they hate someone because of their colour then I'll agree that they're racist.
But nobody has said that. Sticking up for British values and customs isn't racist or xenophobic.
Racism is an irrational hatred towards someone of a different colour or ethnicity or because of where they come from.
Again, nobody, on here has said any of these things.
People are far too quick to use the race card.

Not racist - british maybe nut not racist.
Note how the racist card is played when people object to the dilution of british life, if they stand up then they are deemed racist. Sorry but they are the racist ones the ones that force in thier beliefs,
We dont live in a fairy land uk - but we do / did have a nice country and we dont want to lose that. Like who the fuck wants to eat halal meat ? why have that rammed down our throats ? maybe we should make it illegal as its not humane......

Re: The altruist.
This is a silly post from you.
If you disagree with what I state then try to explain why you think I am wrong.
I have explained why I think the Telegraph journalist you link to has written a stupid piece. I thought the bit about "white flight" from Wokingham in the article was hilarious.
If you disagree explain why. "You talk bollocks" is hardly a well argued case, is it?
