I got it right. Firstly, you don't know the race of many people on here, unless you know them personally or they've specifically stated it. Secondly, you're bound to hear more from white posters regarding racism as most posters, statistically, will be white, just like most posters on here arguing politics, music preferences and climate change will also be white.

I stand by it. Of course, I don't think anyone on this forum is under any illusions that their points expressed on here will somehow change the world, but this is an OT forum for people to express their views or share information. Opposing views will always result in debates and arguments. You could say that this is the whole point of an OT forum.

I could just quite as easily say your post won't change how posters on here will decide to communicate with one another. Your post is as much a waste of time as anyone else's. Welcome to the club!

Again, that's just the impression you have of us all. Just because it's in your head doesn't mean it's fact. If you can point to any poster who has stated his/her posts will change the world then I'm willing to stand corrected.

My relations were slaves Terry & thats why i have zero tolerance for racists.

When we have been to Jamaica to see friends they have shown us the big houses with sugar cane where as sport the British owners showing off to friends would make slaves run through so the plants sliced them to pieces,
if that didn't work they were finished of by dogs...they done this instead of fox hunting...

There is no place in society for people like this then or now, i used to have mates in West Ham who would be pulled up in their cars & manhandled , the coppers mentality was how can a young black guy afford a car like this so obviously he as stole it...wankers Grrr!

It was the best thing that could happen with England losing its empire because like now power corrupts & many innocent people suffer at our ignorance & intolerance of different cultures.

I see the stick my grand daughter gets because she is mixed race & we don't have many black families here in Clacton, most of the time i bite my lip & yes other times i flip as she is my little princess & how dare these scummy lowlife pieces of shit do that to a child.

You do realise we couldn't have had slavery without indigenous tribes/people capturing people for the buyers in the first place and considering they all practised slavery anyway or genocide towards their enemies maybe the evil white man and noble black man bullshit would come to an end.

Oh yeah the noble Native American Indian kept black slaves as well.

Its astonishing how many white people on here constantly go on about racism and racist issues.

I doubt ANY of you have ever had any form of racist comment made to you or made to feel a certain way about your race.

Of course its well and good to come onto a forum and talk about it. Keyboard warriors do nothing to help real life issues.

From the 70s to now i have seen all manner of racism and never once seen it directed at a caucasian person yet!

Indeed. The slavery issue is a long way from being (a-hem) "black and white".
