Gideon Osborne...
(Yes, Gideon was his first name until he changed it when he was 13).
I heard a couple of years ago that Osborne's parents own the biggest interior furnishings company in Britain, and they give young George a salary of ?25,000 a year from the company. He doesn't even do a minute's work for them but they give it to him anyway - this is on top of his Ministerial salary, MP's salary, generous expenses, free gaff in Downing Street, mortgage paid on his 'second home' (which he recently sold, made a big profit, and pocketed it for himself), etc. So Georgie gets about ?500 a week, on top of all those very lucrative things, from his parents for doing absolutely nothing - and he thinks he can understand what it's like for a poor person on a sink estate in the suburbs of some former industrial town up-north? He certainly doesn't! And him taking that extra cash, on top of all his other large incomes, confirms he is someone who wants as much money as possible and will not live modestly. So it is rather hypocritical and inconsistent when he implies through his policies that modestly off people ought to live even more modestly. What a knob.

More like 1030am. A large chunk of my tenants think that is when the day starts. Tracksuit on, charge up expensive mobile, packet of crisps to child for breakfast, off to shop for lager and more crisps.

Argie
That's a pity. Apparently your customers think quite highly of you. Even if you are a Scottish illegal sponging off the rest of us strivers with your public sector pen pushing job.

And another thing..
Perhaps a little more respect is due for your clientele Argie.
After all, they are the only people keeping you from long term unemployment.
Let's face it, looking at your posts on this forum, who else would employ you? Not exactly a customer facing type of chap, are you?
