Why do we have a British Legal system ?
For so long, the Lawrences pondered that very question.
Abu Qatada wins appeal against deportation
Re: Abu Qatada wins appeal against deportation
"he's clearly as guilty as fuck"
You are most probably right, but what are you basing that on?
Is it because a bunch of politicians and the tabloids say he's as guilty as fuck?
I only half believe what they tell me now.
These are the same groups who were telling me a few years ago that all those protesters shot dead on Bloody Sunday in 1972 were armed IRA terrorists.
Iraq had WMDs ready to deploy in 15 minutes.
The South Yorkshire police did a wonderful job at Hillsborough and drunken Liverpool supporters were responsible for the 96 people who died.
The system is far from perfect, but I'd rather trust the courts than Teresa May and The Scum (Sun).

What am I basing it on? Well his own utterances for one thing, some of which have been recorded and are in the public domain.
He's wanted in Jordan on terrorism charges. Let them have the fucker and let them sort it out.
And you are right - the system is far from perfect.

What I can't understand is how Abu Hamza was allowed to be sent to the US, a country that has used torture in the past (Guantanamo Bay,anyone?) but Quatada can't be sent back to Jordan, a country that has, er...used torture in the past.!confused!
