It is sad. He was a TV legend. Even people who never watched the show knew who he was.

Argie
I would have thought a working class boy from a council estate like yourself would have enjoyed watching it when you were growing up with your NHS employed mother.
Oh sorry, I forgot you see yourself as Tory, middle class and playing golf.
Member of the Round Table are we, Argie?
Doesn't fit the act liking Corrie, I suppose.
I hope those golfing trousers and Pringle jumper are clean, ready for the weekend social round in the golf club?
!wink!

Re: Argie
Coronation St was and is absolute shyte with shyte actors and actressess.
Not one of em who left the cast has ever made it, that's why brain dead wankers like Roach stay so long. They are unemployable out in real life.
The arch one is the Goodyear woman. What a self obsessed up her own arse talentless tart she is.
Tarmey was no different, though it behoves me to speak ill of the dead.

I did not - and I did not.
I have seen that sort of juxtaposition on many obituaries, and that does not it make it any truer.

Have to agree with Roddrs here.
The only one I can think of that made it away from CS is Sarah Lancashire. The rest of 'em fade into oblivion, reappearing occasionally in Christmas pantos or shit reality shows.
I guess that's why they are classed as soap stars rather than actors.
