Freedom of speech and thought (that doesn't equate to shouting 'Fire' in a crowded cinema, or doesn't actually incite violence against others) IS a tough one isn't it?

He's a pratt.

But if they put every pratt in jail the streets would be pretty empty!

Throw the bastard out of the country. He has no loyalty to here, even though he demands loyalty from here, and if that is his attitude to the very Army he demands protection from then he should be expelled. Disloyalty is, after all, voluntary. No one forces him to have the view he does, and he should take the consequences of choosing such a view.

Freedom of speech has its consequences. Personally I would like to see
him in the good old stocks of ancient time - especially if the stocks were
placed at Aldershot. He wouldn`t last 20 mins.

I'd rather live in a country where one can express an unpopular view, so long as it does not incite violence, than one from which a person can be ejected for speaking his or her mind, however distasteful.
