Right, I understand now. Political correctness "not politically correct to attach any blame to any Liverpool fans" only applies to Hillsborough.
At Heysel, there was universal agreement to set aside political correctness by the "Political Correctness Trade Union".
Very clear. Tell me Eric, do you really believe this shite?
Scum Liverpool fans..the real killers

Spunkie
Do you know anything about football grounds in the sixties, seventies, early eighties?
1. Fans were treated like cattle in pens.
2. Pushing and shoving happened at all First Division grounds every Saturday.
3. You often couldn't tell where the pens were that you were queueing, pushing or whatever to get into.
4. Rushes forward on the terraces often happened at exciting points in the games. People often got crushed as a result.
5. People were often carried down overhead onto the pitches by the terrace crowd.
6. 96 people did not die at every First Division ground on every Saturday.
Your test is to work out, why that was. Start by reading the Taylor report and then go on to the report published today and you might be a tad better informed.

Try peering your way though all that red mist, stop frothing at the mouth for a second and read posts properly (i.e. in full) instead:

Read the report published today and you should get some kind of understanding.
I find it pathetic that individuals like you seem unable to grasp very simple, basic points e.g.from the PM's statement based on today's report.
The Liverpool fans did not cause the disaster.
There is a trail of new documents which show the extent to which the safety of the crowd at Hillsborough was 'compromised at every level'.
The ground failed to meet minimum standards and the 'deficiencies were well known'.
The turnstiles were inadequate.
The ground capacity had been significantly over-calculated.
The crush barriers failed to meet safety standards.
There had been a crush at exactly the same match the year before.
And today's report shows clearly that lessons had not been learnt.
The report backs up again the key finding of the Taylor Report on police failure.

Re: Eric
Just illustrating the utterly fatuous nature of your logic.
Re: Scum Liverpool fans..the real killers
David - I refer my "red mist" and "frothing at the mouth" post (see above) to you also.

No "red" mist (good joke Eric) and "frothing at the mouth" as far as I am concerned. You are talking shite. I am putting you right.
If you can't cope with that and instead choose to ramble on about "red mist", me being "butch" etc, you are only making yourself look even more pathetically badly informed.

No David - you're being a pompous, sanctimonious arse. As usual. Though granted, you can on occasion be mildly entertaining.
