Sorry about that Mrmcfister. It takes two to tango so I'm partly to blame! He had no comeback to my last post so I'll leave it at that.

Anyway, I'm mostly with you on the cars thing. I wonder if cars are the only thing that are partly sold on specifics and capabilities a customer will never need or use, i.e. "0-60mph in 4 seconds with a top speed of 180mph". Maybe processing power in PCs comes close. I've seen people buy quad core laptops at over a grand and only ever use them for the internet. Then again, it's there if needed. With fast cars you're sort of legislated, by law, not to use the car's full potential.

Seems you have no comeback or justification for your views, and cannot explain your inconsistency when it comes to the same sort of logic re racism.

It was clearly a bit of ribbing.......banter......taking the piss......a joke. Surely an ex serviceman like yourself would recognise such banter and wouldn't need it pointing out. If you didn't get it was a joke by the 'lol' at the end of the sentence in question then you must surely have got it when me and David Johnson pointed it out in plain English.

Further down the thread you assumed I was implying you were a racist when in fact I quiet clearly pointed out I didn't think you were.
