"For what it's worth though, I too think that Assange should be extradited and stand trial. Surely those women's charges deserve to be heard (and to be brutally honest, he strikes me as a posh troublemaker who thinks that one law applies to him and another to the rest of us).
I'd say pretty much the same about your kebab shop owner - If he existed. I can honestly say that race doesn't come into it."
I entirely agree with you, Ken.

Well David I must confess that English Lit wasn't my favourite subject at school, and we had a really shit teacher. But I still managed a Grade B at 'O' Level so no, I didn't really struggle with it at all.
Just out of interest though, has your non-existent "Mohammed Khan" also pissed off Uncle Sam by publishing secret / classified material on t'internet? Because you've conveniently airbrushed out that key political aspect from your fictional scenario, which means that you're asking us to to compare apples and oranges in order to "prove" your point?

Assange as the Messiah?
Saw Assange giving us the benefit of his views as to "what the US, Sweden, GB MUST do" from the balcony of the Ecuadorean embassy.
He didn't mention at all the serious sexual charges made by two Swedish women, of course.
I don't think he mentioned either, the impact on Afghanis helping the Allies, resulting from the issue by Wikileaks of unredacted information in which their names appear.
I wonder if Assange views this as "collateral damage"?
