Then again he can be assured of the best possible treatment, no post-code lotteries and sitting around for hours in crowded waiting rooms for Phil, probably got an entire wing to himself.

My old man was REME (Rough engineering made easy or ruin every maiden eventually!)...had 18 months holiday in Singapore doing National Service.
