Not anymore its not, I think they`re gay now according to the BBC. God knows everything else on that show is, but remember its a kids show

Bukkake shots where you are with a few other guys...is fucking gay.

In fact, about pulling trains with a woman...you wanna have sex with other guys and mix your sperm with theirs...you're just using a woman as a conduit.

Blimey, EVERTHING becomes political on here!

I know what you mean though, mrchapel. I couldn't believe what the BBC had done with Doctor Who when they brought it back a few years ago. I don't know why I still pay their Window Tax....No, I mean TV Licence Fee....?

Yes, they "updated it for a modern audience" didn't they. Which is always the kiss of death in terms of quality. The dismal (and mercifully short-lived) "Minder" relaunch a couple of years back was another example.

I believe the Daleks suffered a makeover at the hands of New Labour PC enforcers who felt that in general the Daleks, "Demonstrated traits reflective of typical violent, macho, sexist stereotypes" and decreed they should be "Feminised!" They felt it would be more desirable that the Daleks were given a more "nurturing" and "caring" character and indeed disputed whether the Daleks role as "invaders" should be changed to "enlighteners" and "Feminist home-makers". Furthermore, New Labour astro-physicists felt that if Daleks actually existed in the Universe, there would be a 100000000:1 chance that they would be lesbian feminists! Finally, they decreed that the Dalek's catchphrase, "Exterminate" was to be changed to, "Exfolliate!Exfolliate!" and "Eat your 5 a day", "All men are brutes" and "Build creches at ALL workplaces!"

Mary Tamm

Post by welkram »

On a not totally unrelated subject I saw thar Mary Tamm died on July 26th.

Without a doubt she was one of the best 'grown up' travel mates Dr Who (Tom Baker) ever had.

I remember being given a copy of a BBC outtakes video that had been produced by the VT engineers, this included Mary Tamm failing to get a long piece of dialogue in the right order, it always ended in her 'effin an 'blindin and then having K9 continually join in with "please get your fucking lines right miss".

I always had a soft spot for the Daleks and especially wanted to see how
they coped with a flight of stairs !!
If only they did not want to "exterminate" everything !
