As has been shown oft times in relation to rushed and ill-considered legislation in recent years, hard cases make bad law.

I simply can't resist the temptation to mock up a possible reply from David Johnson:

Well, Tuff, I truly believe that you can lay the blame on your apparent present celibacy at the door of the Tories! Statistically, you would have had a better than odds on* chance of getting laid under New Labour! Everyone was at it before the Tories came in and ruined everything. People often ask me, "David why doesn't anyone get laid anymore since the Tories came into power?". and I answer, "Well my brethren, it is because everyone is depressed by Tory cuts and so everyone is too depressed to shag!"
Yes, Tuff, if you guarantee that you will vote New Labour in the next election, I can tell you in secret, that New Labour big wigs will send you an Adultwork Voucher for ?25.00, which will give you entrance to the exclusvie and hallowed halls of, "Maison de Aulde Slapper". If you ask Wayne Rooney he will confirm that she will administer to your every need!

Hope this helps!!wink!

I never had a go at you?

I said what i said as successive governments have failed and I would hope both labour and conservative supporters would be concerned.

Then I read more about it and realised once again it was that useless cow and her dept who always seem to be consistently failing. I'm not one of her fans and it's difficult not to show it.

And again !hmmm!

Laws without parliament

Post by David Johnson »

I am not entirely sure what your attitude is to this article. Can I assume that it is about another May cockup?

"The Supreme Court said ministers were wrong to bar foreign workers, students and other migrants from the UK under criteria that had not been laid before Parliament."

"The Home Secretary is bound by law to put any immigration ?rule? changes to MPs"

Thank Heavens there is a Supreme Court which can stop people like Theresa May making changes to immigration law without bothering to put the legislation before Parliament.

For me this illustrates the importance of concentrating on getting any changes to the law absolutely correct after a period of consultation with all concerned as opposed to wading in with threats to change Human Rights legislation that has been around for 70 years or making changes to immigration law without even bothering to involve parliament.

Personally I am amazed Theresa May is still in a job.

Yes, another cock up. I'm totally frustrated that all the ministers at the home office are totally incompetent. Many warned that Teresa May would be turn out to be useless. British politicians seem to be lacking in any real talent.
