I certainly am jealous, or at least envious, of his wealth, but that's my problem.

It's also my problem if I have a moral issue with any legal way someone makes their money, banker or no banker.

What's different here is shadow of fraud, serious criminal behaviour, that hangs over Diamond and the rest.

Now the old boy network etc. may minimize the punishment for a lot of people who are going to get caught up in this but we really haven't heard the last of this story.

The digging is still going on and no one knows for sure what it will unearth yet.

Frank, This is always the cliched stock response to anyone who questions the very rich, ie "Oh well you're just jealous!" So I presume you could level this accusation at the MP's who were questionning Bob Diamond today, "They're obviously jealous!". Or perhaps the judge and jury on any forthcoming case against a crooked City fat cat, could be accused by the defendants counsel of being "All jealous of my clients fabulous wealth!" Or what about the Leveson enquiry, obviously brought about by those that are jealous of Murdochs wealth?

So what are you saying, the rich should never be chastised, questionned or even made to live by the same rules as the rest of us must live by? I am firmly buried in the system, I pay my taxes in the UK and it is perfectly reasonable to expect cunts like Bob Diamond are brought to book when they lie and cheat.

It would appear that you are suggesting that if I earned ?100 million over 15 years, that I would also, by definition, become a lying, cheating, rat! No, actually, even though I work in porn, I would like to think that I wouldn't end up a lying, conniving, cheat, if I became a multi-millionaire!

Not everyone who is rich is dishonest and bad and likewise not everyone who is poor is inherently, "Good." This is Socialist PC clap-trap!
