Yes and calling someone a cunt because they disagree with you serves no purpose and isn't likely to get them to revise their opinions.

Oh, was that aimed at me? If it was, then I'm sorry for the late reply. I just read: 'er........?' and saw a link. The penny has only just dropped.
If it was, then I'll say that I don't think that anything I've said in this thread contradicts any of my comments in the other (or vice-versa).
I wasn't suggesting that it's wrong to disagree or to make your point. I was just recommending doing so without labelling others as stupid just because they disagree with you.
And I haven't ever called anyone a cunt. (not on these boards, anyway). And the 'smug bastard' comment was aimed at people on TV, not anyone on here. I did call Sam Slater an asshole, but only because he called me thick....

I didn't call you thick, I implied it. You called me an asshole THEN I called you thick.

And anyway, you stared it by implying I was a smug bastard. It was actually Atheists on telly you called smug but since I agree with most of them it was an implication by proxy...........sort of !happy!

Why don't you split some hairs while you're at it?

I was upset that you tried to make out you only called me a nasty name because I called you a nasty name first. That misrepresented me unfairly. Surely as a man who shuns the cold and calculating in life you'd be the type who empathises with my emotional distress.

I could hardly sleep last night. And on the Jubilee weekend as well!

Why don't we just agree to disagree?

Didn't appear in the least bit mad on Question Time last night.
