I remember seeing one of the 'wimmin' at an FBU meeting reading a copy of the Morning Star. I commented on it as I hadn't seen one since I had a paper round and used to deliver the only copy the newsagent got, and didn't think they still printed it.
"Oh yes" she replied, "it's the only newspaper that actually tells the truth"
So maybe that's the one?

We have need of you again, great king.

Or maybe that beacon of impartiality and neutrality that is the Guardian?

When was this Jim?
I take the Express and I can't recall any of those.
But then you do have a fertile imagination don't you?

Good point, Peter
Frankly, Andy has always come across as one of those Commie types. I bet he even has leather pads on his tweed jacket.
1. He doesn't think the Mail is a "proper" paper.
2. Must be a Commie. Morning Star then.
Elementary, Mr dear Andy at handiwork.

Mail
We are immensely proud of what he did': Family praise actions of hero beachgoer, 32, who died saving five-year-old girl's life
...
They said Mr Petkov - a British Citizen of Bulgarian origin - dived into the water ?without second thoughts?, followed by his friend and another woman from Guildford, Surrey.
But the hero, who was not related to the youngster, had a suspected heart attack and drowned just 16ft from the shore moments after delivering the unharmed child to safety.

Why should it be any more impartial or neutral than any other paper? The reason I like it is that it isn't impartial or neutral when it comes to its attitude to xenophobes, racists, bullies, dictators, unfairness, Europhobes and sceptics, homophobes, fascists, neo-nazis, Marxists, holocaust deniers, right-wing Tories, the Executive branch of government whatever its persuasion, anti-semites, closed minds, abusers of power (again on both wings) on the one hand, and democrats, liberalism, fairness, civil-rights, dignity, humanity, inclusiveness, decency, on the other. And it has to be said, its op-ed pages are often the place to find many a piece by opponents.

Dont have a tweed jacket with or without leather patches, but my mum used to get the Morning Star/Daily Worker on saturdays for many years.
