Brilliant films!

Post by jimslip »

Over here in Budapest we have just seen 4 films which I must admit were all really good, for different reasons. I recommend all of them!

The Best Exotic Magnolia Hotel..............brilliant
Battleship...............great
Marvel Avengers.................................brilliant
The Woman in Black............................brilliant and fucking scary!!!

Missd out on Battleship :-(

You look like a more avid cinema goer than me Mr Slip!

Heard the BBFC cut The Woman In Black from being too scary to just scary enough. Maybe they didnt want people dying of fright in the cinema !laugh!

The Avengers is your classic big screen enetertainment blockbuster. I really had a good time watchig that film with a packed audience...Especially the Hulk bit "I'm a god you cretin!" SMASH!SMASH! SMASH!!!! That was hilarious!

No, the BBFC cut it for violence. The Blu Ray will be uncut, though. Not sure about the DVD.

I'd totally agree with 3 of them but "Battleships"??? Not seen such a ridiculously bad film since "2012", and it was worse than that.
