We got it wrong, says Ed...
Ed Milliband said this weekend that Labour got it wrong on everything from the banks to immigration to tax and everything else. It is just a shame that the people who did all this to us aren't held to account, instead they are off making millions from that contacts they made whilst in politics. Frustrating, isn't it?

"Frustrating, isn't it?"
No, it's more like criminal.

It amazes me that after labour fucked up like that people still vote for them.

Max...
Bit of an exaggeration on your part, "everything else", Max, re. what Miliband said on mistakes made.
"The Labour Government never in my view engaged in the sort of behaviour we?ve seen with Jeremy Hunt.
But there are issues about our past here too.I am hugely proud of what Labour did in office.
But having been in office for thirteen years, the British public lost faith in who we stood up for. They thought that we had lost touch. They thought that we were too close to the powerful interests. Not willing to take on the banks, until it was too late. Not willing to take on the utilities enough as they began to drive up prices. Not willing to take on the media giants, even though everyone knew that things were not right."

You are able to speak with such authority on the thoughts of the population. How political of you!
In my case however, you are in gross error.
I lost face in Labour when it became apparent to me that they were out to destroy my country, its traditions, the cohesion of its language, its legal framework, its demographic make-up and its very culture.
However, continue in your preferred fantasies, but if you think that will restore my contributions and my vote, you are very mistaken.

Depressing isn't it?
I can only assume that a lot of it is down to habit ("my dad/grandad always voted Labour so I always do" or "I come from a Labour family").
A combination of that and millions of people with incredibly short memories.

Flat Eric/Nob3y
Yeah, thank god we got the coalition in power.
Unemployment up, growth collapsed, government borrowing up since they got in power, taxes reduced for the rich.
That's what's needed!
