Orgasmic music

I was listening to my favourite composers ie Sir Hubert Parry and Adolf Hitler's fave rave , Wagner and got to thinking how their music fits both sex and war. Both composers wrote "Orgasmic" music. Here's a couple of pieces, the first written by Wagner, that I can imagine Adolf in raptures over, as he ordered the invasion of Poland and the second piece, by our good old "British Bulldog" Hubert Parry would have fired up "The few" to repel the Nazi hordes.

I think Wagner's ditty is noisy and very Germanic, whilst our Hubert's piece is a tad more subtle and calm, but in the end far more powerful, by the way, Hub wrote "Jerusalem" as well.

I don`t know if I would describe Parry`s music as orgasmic....at least not
for me Jim. He was heavily influenced by church music and especially Bach
who, again, does not set my pecker throbbing ! However , there is nothing
better than humming "Jerusalem" as I set off on my daily toil of shooting an
anal scene or whatever.....
Now Wagner is an altogether different fish. For me his music does often have
a sexual resonance, though not quite in the Ravel area, but for war, triumph,
pride and glory it takes some beating.
I would advise you to watch again John Boorman`s excellent "Excalibur"
movie that uses Wagner precisely for sex/war effect. Or Ken Russell`s films
on Wagner, Tchaikovsky and - my old fave - Liszt, to see and hear all that
you say.
