Possibly, like you, the Sun reporters don't know how to spell the word. Instead, they described the group as the "Rochdale sex gang that groomed underage girls for sex amongst themselves and others". A much nicer diescription, eh Jim? Doesn't sound unpleasant at all.

Anyway the Telegraph describes them as paedophiles. They probably know how to spell it without risking attacks on NHS childcare workers.

Secondly, what do you know about the upbringing of of these Asian men?

The only reason you know about the girls is because the defence counsel for the Asian men would no doubt have done everything possible to highlight the girls as being unreliable, dishonest, predators etc etc. which is why they concentrated on what they perceived as a "chaotic lifestyle".

What we do know is that all the Asian men turned out as wrong uns which is not a good advert for their Asian parents.

Don't know anything about the upbringing of these Asian men.

I do know about the cultural attitude of Asian / Muslim males towards females.

The men convicted of the crimes referred too aren't kids though they are adults.

The point I was trying to make when replying to the comments earlier was that a scenario of white men grooming Asian girls was unlikely because Asian girl's parents are more likely to know what their kids (especially daughters) are getting up to and to be monitoring their behaviours.

These men were rightly convicted.

But where were the parents of the girls who were being groomed?

If all parents took more interest in what their kids were getting up to (whatever their skin colour), and took positive steps to protect their moral welfare perhaps cases like this wouldn't happen.
