UK top shelf mag collection - do people buy them?

Post by The Invader »

For ages now I've been meaning to clear out my collection of mostly UK top shelf mags. The need may become more urgent soon if I don't survive the latest round of redundancies at work and end up having to move.

Are there folk out there nowadays willing to buy a good mag collection?

I reckon there must be at least 200 but could be over 300 or beyond.

I don't need the money it just seems a shame to bin them all.

They were well looked after, I was always careful lol!

The mags are from the 1990s and 2000s. I think I finally stopped buying mags about 4 or 5 years ago and went 100% digital lol!

There will be a lot of Club, Mayfair, Mens World, Men Only and Just 18, but the collection should also contain Razzle, Ravers, Escort, Knave, Fiesta, US Playboy.

I'd expect to have to catalogue all the volumes/editions to attract a sale, but would I also need to take a photo of the front cover of every mag?

Cheers

Pretty much useless nowadays unless of interest to a collector...

Best of luck with off loading them

CORRECTION: I've just remembered I did dump a pile of them in 2000 when I moved flat. So apologies if I've ended up over-estimating the numbers.

Should still be a fair old number of them though.

Cheers.

I'll wait and see what sort of other replies I get, but certainly no point in cataloging them if they're going to be pretty worthless.

Can't remember the last time I bought any printed smut. Must be 10 years ago at least.

And the last time I saw any modern stuff in print, it was utter shite - right down to the crap paper quality.

I will buy all of them off of you and collect (so long as you don't live miles away).
