Refs really love Man U

Post by Arginald Valleywater »

QPR are doing a sterling job against 12 men. Offside and a brush past equals penalty at OT and a red card......and you wonder why most of the country thinks Man U are a bunch of twunts.

I thought it was an inspired decision for Fergie to play Lee Mason in place of the out of form Howard Webb. Webby hasn't been delivering since the Chelsea game, so Sir Alex rested him to give the new boy a chance to show what he could do. And boy did he seize the opportunity! We may be seeing Webbo joining Berbatov on the out of favour bench with guys like this coming through the ranks.

Excellent team selection by the gaffer once again.

We have need of you again, great king.

And Sky, some of their commentators get rather too excited when Man U score.....the kind of thing the BBC get accused of with politicians and which will fit Sky's business model of Man U winning every league title as it means more money for them...bit like the Champions League where Man U and Barca NEVER shall meet...unless they get to the Final.

I might be wrong here, but I think that Gary Neville commentator is a closet Man Ure fan. Its just the little things that slip out occasionally that give it away, such as his hatred for anything not Man Ure, and his blind obedience to everything that is.

Just a hunch.

preferential attachment

Post by Jonone »

"A preferential attachment process is any of a class of processes in which some quantity, typically some form of wealth or credit, is distributed among a number of individuals or objects according to how much they already have, so that those who are already wealthy receive more than those who are not."

Terrible decisions from referees lately. Chelsea had two offside goals, Man Utd got a penalty from an offside position and Man City had one player putting his studs into opponents' knees seemingly at will.

Of course, let's just concentrate on the Old Trafford incident because that makes ABUs feel their prejudices are justifiable.
