Not quite sure who they were quoting but Galloway is a practising Catholic.

And had he turned up to vote, would it have made the slightest difference? Were there many bills won/lost by one vote?

Practising Catholic, does that mean he has a string of sprogs all over the place?

The answer is in the word "attendance". If you are elected an MP and then do not turn up to speak nor vote then the question is why bother to be an MP.

Galloway might argue that he did a lot of local constituency work, but if you are in a party of one, dont attend parliament, speak or vote, then you may as well be a councillor instead.

Spot on David. Galloway is a prime example of politicians being in politics for their own end. I am afraid that this twatt will not just lie down and go away. He is too egotistical for his own good. The only time I admired him was when he showed up at the American Senate Committee, (I think it was them) and showed the world what a bunch of ill informed bunch of idiots they really are. Since then I just wish the bastard would fuck off somewhere and keep out of public sight.
