The tory party exists to look after the rich and the establishment. Nothing more.

And the current Harvard, Yale and Oxbridge Labor party is in touch with the working classes?? We have a political class, all sides rich, only interested in getting re-elected to fill their pockets and have a massive pension.

The Tory Prime Minister is an Upper Class representative of his own class.

Mike
Can I take it by your reply that you have lost your seemingly unbridled enthusiasm back in May 2010 for Nick Clegg and his lot?

Mike II
"Take the Prime Minister David Cameron for example: During the riots as London blazed Mr Cameron was staying in ?10,000 a week luxurious villa in Tuscany, Italy with an Upper Class friend when he was forced to return. "
"The root cause of the London riots is the rule of the Upper Class over the Working Class who were relatively satisfied by wages and social benefits when they were out of work but now as cuts bite to reduce their already low standard of living they are in an angry mood."
A tad one-sided analysis, Mike given that Nick Clegg, the man who as I recall you fervently supported, was on holiday in Spain and the south of France at the time of the riots and without whose party's support the cuts you refer to in benefits etc would not have been passed in the House.
Why no mention of the Lib Dems in your analysis? After all, Nick Clegg is as "upper class" to use your frequently used term in the article, as they come. The son of a bank chairman, related to a Russian baron, educated at Westminster school and Cambridge University etc etc.

Of course we could go down the line of communism a la Cuba where the ruling revolutionaries have their own golf course and live like kings while the public do with daily power cuts and are stuck in the 1950s...or perhaps Fascism...there is no perfect political system, never has been, never will be.
