Here's an example of why there is no hope for this country to ever get out of its rut. We are shackled to the blind, stupidity of our political parties imposing their dumb dogma on all of us. So, the last government believed everything in society could be solved by squandering without question and if you run out of money either borrow some more or simply print some more.
This government believes in blindly making cuts, for no other reason than, "Errm, that's what we do, we're Tories, we make cuts, we have no future vision, we just make cuts, that's our job!"
The latest "Bright idea" after the one that involves sacking 1300 disabled workers, is to "Privatise" the emergency 999 system, to give the public, "Better value for money." I wonder how many of the directors of the new 999 companies will be politicians or their wives?
Cunts the lot of 'em, New labour and Tories! Viva le revolution!
The pendulum of stupidity.
The pendulum of stupidity.

Cutting is done everywhere, I tought it was only in my country.
So they will privatise the 999, I thought they had learned something out of what they have done with British Rail.
Some services may not be privatised!

"So, the last government believed everything in society could be solved by squandering without question and if you run out of money either borrow some more or simply print some more."
Wrong. In 2007 the government debt was no higher than the Tories in the years before Blair's election win. THis hardly suggest "squandering without question" Unless you believe the Tories "squander without caution".
Look at the first graph here, to understand why you are wrong.

The debt and deficit started ballooning with the global financial collapse not before.
"This government believes in blindly making cuts, for no other reason than, "Errm, that's what we do, we're Tories, we make cuts, we have no future vision, we just make cuts, that's our job!"
Wrong. The Tories believe that cut the state and the private sector will absorb the public sector unemployed. Osborne's statement to this effect at the beginning of the Tory regime has been proven to be total bunkem.
The second reason the Tories make cuts is that they do not believe in the public sector and will use any excuse to privatise that sector which we currently see happening on an unprecedented scale already.
One of the main reasons that the Tories get away with it is because people like yourself, James swallow the endless crap about the Labour party spending money like no tomorrow and that they, the Tories are the party of prudence. This is clearly not true.
It's never too late to wake up and understand when you have been conned, Jim.
Meanwhile start saving for your health insurance premiums in England. It can't be too many years now before we start hearing from the Tories "How can it be fair when a fit 18year old is paying his taxes for the NHS and hardly uses the service at all and people like Jim Slip are using it so much more? Now that we are all living so much longer and the cost of the NHS has mushroomed (this will largely be down to the private sector cost base ripping off the state), surely it would be fairer if the 18 year old had a small insurance premium for health treatment and Jim Slip had a ever so slightly bigger one (translation huge insurance premium, USA here we come)

Re: Jimbo
I had not read this news item (about 999 privatisation) before. If so it
is just another example of this truly awful Brit Govt. It has to be, without
question, the most awful one socially ever to hold power !!
It seems hell-bent on destroying most traditional (ie conservative) aspects
of the UK. I am wondering almost if the PM, Eton-educated as we all
know, is the spawn of some rich Tory mole (like Sir Anthony Blunt), maybe
an embryo of the Stalinists in Russia, sent to destroy all that once made
my country Great !
Not content with tearing the Established Church apart, giving gays it
seems more rights than non-gays, refusing to allow someone to wear a
small crucifix in a workplace, pushing forward the total devolution of the
United Kingdom after 400 years and thus making England even more
pathetic, the cunts now want to privatise 999, one of the few things in
modern Britain which, on the whole, works well !!!
Can`t someone shoot this Eton educated cunt and his public school
Liberal buddy !!

Re: The pendulum of stupidity.
"Simply print some more" was my remedy. Why won't that work exactly ??

Re: Jimbo
Its not a question of '..giving gays it seems more rights than non-gays', more simply it is giving them the same rights as everybody else. What could be wrong with that?

Hyperinflation is the usual result.

Re: The pendulum of stupidity.
Fair comment unless you banned hyperinflation. How to do that and control I'm not sure but start by bringing absolutely everything across the board down in price 10%. Then bring the top earners wages down 10% and lower wage earners down 1% and make sure the top earners pay their taxes like the low earners and make it illegal for them to find loop holes via wanky lawyers who do offshore stuff.

Re: The pendulum of stupidity.
I have to treat myself to an ironic smile when people rail at the dogmatic political abuses that emanate from Westminster.
While people persist in voting for the tri-partite elected dictatorship, the LibLabcon, the abuses will continue unabated. Moaning, groaning and gnashing of teeth will not have the slightest impact on the policies of the self authorised Troika that infests the Westminster village.
**************
"The English people believes itself to be free; it is gravely mistaken; it is free only during election of members of parliament; as soon as the members are elected, the people is enslaved; it is nothing. In the brief moment of its freedom, the English people makes such a use of that freedom that it deserves to lose it."
