That wasn't temper, that was sarcasm.

Perhaps not many people have signed up for the simple reason that not many people want hardcore porn on TV?

I'm surprised that even 600 bothered to sign up, in fact I'm quite impressed! The truth is that the "general public train" has left the untended, overgown with weeds, station called, "Porn". They have moved on. No one is THAT interested anymore. For 99.99% of people over 14 years old, porn is a minor distraction, a free, throw away bit of entertainment.

Porn is like a massive bog roll and each porno clip is like one sheet, use it once, have a wipe, chuck it down the bowl and then tear off another and another, 'cept the bog role of porn NEVER runs out, there'll always be another sheet! Just wait till the bowl fills up, pull the chain, flush the lot down and carry on tearing and wiping 'cos it aint EVER gonna end till you find the Devil himself holdin' the dispenser and it be Him who been feedin' ya'all the paper deep from within the Fires of Hell and he gonna let out a big cackling laugh......and then ya'all gonna burn in eternal damnation!!!

!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!!flush!

(That's a rather eloquent, almost evangelical, analogy if I may be so bold!!wink!)

A fellow purveyor of filth summed it up perfectly when he described how he'd phoned a friend and told him he had about 50 porno DVD's he wanted to give away and his friend said, "I'm not that interested, maybe I'll pick 'em up in a few weeks time!".........That was 3 years ago and still no show! Ten years ago, this same friend would have slammed the phone down and sped over at high speed to get his hands on some free porn.

The only thing you'd get in a Human Rights case to do with the free access of porn, would be a combined yawn from all present and the judge would probably bury his head in his hands and say, "In the name of God, go back home, turn on your PC and you will find 10000000000 entries to do with porn.........isn't that enough for you, case dismissed............TILL HELL FREEZES OVER!!!"lol

A judge that knows what the internet is, and that there is free porn on it?

I understand that the porn industry in the USA exists on the back of the constitutional right of free speech. Obviously free speech includes the right of free listening. Freedom to speak is meaningless if the potential audience is banned from listening.

However, the convoluted sophistry of language employed by the British establishment probably means that UK audiences will continue to be denied the freedom to receive continental porn channels.

The trick is to buy a satellite receiver with CAMS, conditional access module slots, and somehow acquire a continental viewing card. Don't go for equipment designed for and by British broadcasters.

Many states in the US apply 'community standards' when it comes to what is or isnt obscene. Some apply it more harshly than others. Hence Alabama can outlaw sex toys such as vibrators, whereas California is the home of porn.

Yes Andy, in reality the judge would probably say something like, "Listen my good fellow, I have heard tell from those 'downstairs" that there are machines, similar to Mr Babbages, "Difference engines" that common folk are connecting by means of wires to optical displays similar to Mr Bairds, "Televisor".

Only last week I was forced to give one of my servants a sound thrashing when I heard him telling the others, downstairs, that he was able to balance such a contraption on his lap and with some clever dexterity, masterbate profusely to obscene, un Godly images that he had transported to the "Difference engine" through the very air itself, from others with similar apparatus, not even within the confines of my abode in Berkeley Square and in fact I gave him another thrashing when he said that he had received such filth from as far as the newly discovered Americas! Now I know for a fact that a difference engine is about 1 ton in weight and impossible to balance on one's lap!

All the same, I would suggest that you engage your butler to purchase one of these contraptions to source the filth that you require to satisfy you base, un-Christian depravity! I am informed there is a veritable mountain of this muck available for free in the civilised World, now be orff with you, before I have you dispatched to Australia as a common criminal!

Then, after adjourning the court for a few hours, that judge would probably repair to Germaine Street for a session with Miss Whiplash.

A few years ago in Italy, I had a nice lunch with the guy who started the whole Red Hot satellite card thingy in the 1990's, he made a fortune, but he said nowadays it was a dead duck! The internet has killed it off.
