So when will the USA attack Iran?

So I see that the Iranian underground facility at Qom is just about ready
to start production of weapons-grade uranium. The Iranians themselves
seem to have dropped their atomic energy for peaceful purposes rhetoric
and are now admitting they want to make a bomb.
In a funny way it is sometimes possible to watch historical events before
our eyes moving us inexorably into war, or dangerous international
situations, and yet as mere mortals, have no power to stop things.
I remember Bush and Blair pushing impatiently towards their Iraq War
once its defence dept impetus had begun. It was so obvious - the lies -
yet what could any of us do ?
For years it has been clear to ordinary folk that the Iranians have
all along been wanting an atomic bomb. They have lied and obfuscated
weapons inspectors for ages. Now that bomb is close to reality.
One thing is certain. Israel will react. The question is when and with what
violence. And the outcome ?

Remind me now, didn't a similar thing used to be said about Saddam Hussein? Remember all the dodgy "intelligence" info that came out of the US/UK leadership re. Iraqi WMD?

The US Navy could force the Straits of Hormuz to stay open quite easily Jim. All they have to do is sink any Iranian boat that attempts to disrupt the movement of tankers, in and out. The US has the means.
It just needs their President to find his balls and tell the navy to get on with it.

Its just the Yanks cant find an excuse yet...Once they do they will be in like a shot.....

Been watching this for some time and think that its only a matter of time - there is no real offensive against the yanks and the search for the dollar, so they will hack away until they get what they want dominance in the middle east. Only trouble is they are just as ready to come back at them. Wont be in the ways of old military times. If the yanks are stupid enough to go in then it will be terrorism everywhere.

with their various doctors and media teams begin Phase 1.
As the old 1st WW song goes...."Ah, the bells of Hell go ting-a-ling-ling".
