The spirit that put the Great in Great Britain

These lads deserve a medal if they get caught... prior to sentencing of course.

Does anyone know if Michael Caine can do a Manc accent?

With a bit of liberty taken with reality I can see a great action movie where Caine and the team drive into the tunnel in a Mini, load up the cash machine and head off into the night chased by plod. The chase would end up in Salford Docks with the various pedestrian bridges near the Lowry and the Media City being involved before the mini ends up perched precariously over Salford Dock.

Sure-fire winner. Has to be!

Cheers

Well done lads! The spirit of The Great Escape lives on, I wonder if the gang took turns to nonchalantly wander about the streets emptying earth fom bags in their trousers, so as not to arouse suspicion!! Although, imagine you went to all that trouble and found the machine was empty!!furious!

A bunch of idiots methinks. If they had done their homework and waited until the ATM had been restocked they would have made a profit, probably. A lot of graft for next to fuckall.
I expect they will be picked up by the boys in blue. I mean to say, they stole some dosh didn't they? They should just have topped someone. They would get away with that under our stupid legal system that regards money as more important than human life.

Excellent ! And only the bank suffers. This is the kind of ingenuity I
want and expect from British criminals ! Less street crime and muggings
and more of this kind of thing !! Whizzo !

Aye an even better one......

Guy watched security van - guard jumps out walks round to back door of bank chaps a distinct knock on the door - hatch opens and money box handed out. Guy thinks Hmmmm So he waits around the same time the next day same thing happens.

Has a thought - next day near same time goes to door and chaps same chap. Hatch opens and out pops money box.

Result

No one hurt no tunnels and no long prepreation just in and out and away with ?45k

result.

Heard one about a bank employee who before he left work, put a table behind the rear door of the bank, then left a note on the night safe saying "Out of Order, please use letterbox on rear door"

Then went back in the dead of night and fished out all the bags people had dumped through the letterbox.

We have need of you again, great king.
