?22.5 million wasted in Congo

The Congo is just about the most miserable land on the planet. A country
so fucked up in ethnic native wars, corrupt government, bloodthirsty
armed gangs roaming the countryside, Lords Army child killers with AK47s,
electricity and basic supplies only a few hours a day, no roads (since the
whites left) that only Somalia is its equal in misery....but Congo is ten times
the size.
But don`t believe me. Read Tim Butcher`s book "Blood River", the story of
an ordinary bloke who had a dream to follow Stanley`s footsteps across
Congo and found it is literally impossible today without a bullet in your head
and far easier in Victorian times.
Now I find that Twat of the Year, David Cameron, has just wasted ?22.5
million of your - ie British taxpayers - money on elections in Congo. All that
happened is that zillions of fake voters were resgistered so the local
politicians and their wives can buy another villa in Spain with your monies !!
I also see that Cameron is now deciding which African countries can get
increased aid based on.....who is nice to gays !!! Is the man mad ? Does
he think he is Jesus Blair or what !! And what is this fucking obsession in
Britain now where everything relates to "being nice to gays" ? I have not
read of many of them being crucifed lately or burnt as witches ?
Its all madness....

Well Frank, since the 1980's, when General Libby was in charge, the Congo's World wide export of a certain beverage was brutally crushed by war, globalisation and corporate greed. It was never the same after the General was assassinated in 1992 and the beverage factories were destroyed, exports stopped immediately.What else can we now do but help them out?
