The Americans love thier trials don't they, someone always has to be at fault. There is no bigger 'Jacko 'fan than me, I thought he was a really gifted songwriter and performer, but sadly he was also a hypochondriac, so does it really matter who injected his last dose of anathetic, he would have died anyway, and if your his personal physician, what would you gain from giving him a lethal dose of the stuff, no more paychecks? no more kudos. I believe he was a victim of his own circumstances, and this trial is nothing more than having to apportion blame to someone, anyone but the victim himself.
The Michael Jackson trial.
The Michael Jackson trial.

This is a witchhunt against a guy doing what he was told to do by Jackson. The family want a scapegoat, pure and simple.

Exactly .

MJ was employing a legalised drug pusher at ?96,000 a month!
No doubt if Dr Murray had told Jacko "no more drugs" he would have been given his P45 and shown the door.
I bet there are lost of Doctors who wouldn't mind ?1.2 million a year for looking after one patient.
The Jacko family knew what was going on, they are all a bunch of weirdos.
I feel sory for the Doc in some ways, because I'm sure it was an accident, all be it an accident waiting to happen.

Yes, he was doing and sanctioning what he was being paid for. However, that does not remove his responsibility as a doctor, i.e. the excuse "I would have been sacked if I had acted responsibly" does not wash in front of the law, true or not. He took a chance, and he lost.
If you work for a chemical company and they ask you to send lots of chemical waste untreated directly into a river, then that does not protect you from criminal prosecution if the authorities find out that you collaborated.

And for some weird reason SKY News are bombarding us with this shite. I work in a very large office and nobody is remotely interested. Dead weirdos are not newsworthy items....
Re: The Michael Jackson trial.
Surely beutelwolf is the one making sensible comments here. If a patient asks for a dangerous drug and the doctor administers it and kills the patient, surely he can't defend himself by saying I was only doing as I was told?

This defence didnt work for Adolf Eichmann either! Alas he wasn't told to kill Hitler, but the Jews.

I agree the Doctor is guilty and he needs to be struck off at the very least.
I do think it's ironic though that the family are lining up to criticise the man.
They all knew what was happening.
I suppose the Jackson's do love a good trial. They had to sit through two of them when MJ was up for Child Abuse charges.

am i missing something here?? now i was brought up in the world of rock n roll and jackson as a performer offered me zilch, a poor weak repetetive voice and a stolen dance routine! you might fawn over him but at the end of the day guys come on he was shite!
