Fair comment given Ive was the head of design at Apple.

But without the support, vision, drive and clout of Apple co-founder and chief executive Steve Jobs, doubtful if they would have seen the light of day.

I admit to owning precisely zero Apple products but was genuinely saddened by the passing of a true innovator. A man who really did move the goalposts, pitch, stadium and then asked why can't we do a bit more.

Quite interesting, put up for adoption by his student mum, ends up as college drop out because his parents couldn't afford to pay the fees and he didn't have a clue what he wanted to do, ends up taking over the World!
