Door to door duster sellers...bunch of thieves

Who the fuck are these skinny hard faced saddoes who earnestly thrust a bit of card in your face with a photo and tell us in the first 30 seconds that they are just out of prison etc etc and then try to sell stuff (that I can buy in the pound shop) for ?7.Bunch of fucking losers and not short to steal from old ladies purses who let them in.

Funnily enough today i had a shifty looking bloke come round wanting to sell me dusters (as used by the NSA to wipe off evidence of their prints which were all over the cruise missle which they had disgused as a jumbo jet he told me) it was to raise money to expose a great conspiracy involving diet coke and sept 11th.

Funnily enough, I also had someone banging on the door trying to sell me something.

It was some bloke trying to sell me conspiracy theories. I was pissed off because what I really wanted was some dusters.

Sounds like an old scam from the 1980's being reworked. A "Fagin" like character gets a load of vagrants together and makes them buy crappy items to sell to people door to door, it used to be dusters and stuff way back then as well. Yes basically they intimidate old ladies and the vagrants make a few pennies, but it's the scumbag running the show, who may have a hundred of these people out on the streets that makes a fortune. PS The photo ID supposed to make them look, "Legit" like!

Another one was the shameful Charity collecting scam, I've recently seen it re emerging. Firstly they think of a tear jerking name like, "Crippled Children of Dying Firemen with Spina Bifida and Terminal Cancer Trust" and then shove a collecting box in your face, saying, "You gonna let these kiddies die mate?" This is the scummiest scam going I think.

I've had the misfortune occasionally to go into pubs that have their own pet charity, usually some kid in need of an expensive operation only available in the US, and would I like to contribute to the pile of pennies perched perilously on the bar. One was so high that had a coin fallen off the top I've no doubt that it would have done serious injury to anyone standing below.
