Concentration camp in Leighton Buzzard

Post by Jonone »

"But in fact some people did leave and told us what was going on and when we looked back since 2008 we were aware of 28 people who had made similar accusations."

More timely work there from the Police !

Ah yes, but although 28 people made similar accusations, did they provide irrefutable evidence required to make a prosecution?

No? Well there you have it. How can the police be expected to act without proof?

I thought the purpose of investigations was to establish proof. At this point in time we don't know how thorough or otherwise those investigations were.

Apologies. I was being satirical. It is a stupidity of mine to expect that people will automatically get it without any hint whatsoever.

I can remember when there was a lot of preventative policing done e.g. policemen wandering around on their local patch during the day/night, making a beeline for known areas where trouble had occurred etc.

This seems to have fallen by the wayside and been replaced by a system whereby it is entirely the public's responsibility to monitor/report crime and the same people are then expected to provide proof in order to avoid been given the impression that they are wasting police time.

"Well under present constraints (excuse for at least 20 years) we havent really got the resources etc etc etc etc.

Shocking and unforgivable.

Cheers

David:

I quite agree. The way the police dodge their responsibilities is shocking. It's their job to investigate crimes isn't it? Then again, I think they are scared of entering traveller camps because they know they'll get as good as they give.

Never mind giving it in the neck to the Old Bill.....what about the gypsy
(sorry, I have no time for this PC nonsense with "travellers" (utterly stupid
expression)) bastards who terrorized these poor work slaves ? If guilty, and lets face it they have a lot to answer for, I hope they all end up with nice long prison terms !
