Gary Neville..good pundit on Sky
Pleasantly surprised at how articulate he is.Opinionated too, which is a nice change from the Mr Blands that are offered elsewhere!
Re: Gary Neville..good pundit on Sky
as a city fan - I feel conflicted I have to be honest
spent the last 15 or so years thinking he was the biggest cunt in football - then he tips up on sky with his fair, balanced and expert punditry
hes been excellent to be fair

He makes a refreshing change from the usual ex-Liverpool standpoint.
If Sky can work it so Neville nuts Phil Thompson then that would be great.

Re: Gary Neville..good pundit on Sky
Neville is a 'two former pros talking at half time' standard guy. He's waaaaaay out of his depth as co-anchor on MNF, he may have the knowledge, but he lacks the ability to communicate it in an interesting manner. His lazy way of specking, littered with "errr" and "erm" is just not upto an acceptable standard.
But then the whole MNF studio presentation is now substandard for some reason, sloppy camera work, seemingly poor direction, they need to get someone in to get a grip of the show, and that means sending Neville back to the half time pundit slot.

We have need of you again, great king.

Totally agree with you Peter.
I have nothing against Mr Neville. The team he used to play for. Or anything silly like that. And good luck to him, he was offered it and took it. Who wouldn't?
But he is god awful. Yes he know's about football, how the games played. But he can't communicate, he is sloppy and just rolls out all the usual cliche's. He does say erm and er way too much and stumbles over plenty of his words. I do think he is way out of his depth. As is the presenter of MNF Ed Chamberlain. Although he has done Sky Sports News for a nuber of years, i think he looks really uncomfortable. He too, also seems to stumble over his words and miss cue's. It really is unacceptable for a company like Sky. And especially on its Flagship sport, which i believe, they sell many packages on the sport alone. All based around their Premiership coverage. I think they need a new anchor. And a better pundit than Neville.
I also don't like the purpose built analysis studio. I think it looks very cheap and dated. I also didn't like it when they went back to that at the beginning of last season, with Keys & Gray. Though they were much preferable & apart from their mysoginy much more professional. However i do prefer it coming live from the actual stadium. And i much preferred the match analysis of the weekends games coming after Super Sunday on the Last Word!

Is it April 1st? Another bollock talker a la Jayme Rednappy. Sky should change its name to WeluvManupleaswintheleagueeveryyear.tv.
