what happened to Dierdre,Agnes, etc?Crikey Becks I thought you were a leader of trends....yours sounds a bit like a loo cleaner and 'thirty eight' would have been better for a middle one surely?

My dear old lamented mother`s name was Gladys. This is hardly top of the
Brit name charts anymore. So I was shocked and then burst into giggles when
a very cute shop asst in L.A. about 9 years ago told me her first name was
Gladys. She also did not see why I dound it funny ! Subsequently, living and
working in L.A. , I met three or four more Gladys`s including the pretty young
secretary to my boss at Hustler. So name are clearly a cultural thing !

Particularly popular with the ferking werking claarses who carntt spel andd think these poor kids wil love these names when they reach adulthood. Can you imagine a pensioner called Chantique Eloyeesseea? Portugal has the right idea where stupid children's names are banned.

Yes of course, otherwise why would Cameron and Isla be popular names in Scotland, and why would Rhys and Megan be popular in Wales? Why would Kyle and Kylie be popular in Australia? Why would Santiago and Valentina be popular names in many Spanish speaking countries but not in Spain?

Apparently they've asked Prince William to be godfather and (if you believe what's in the papers at any rate), the baldy twat and Cameron are now both "backing the idea" of Good Queen Bess making the narcissistic twats Lord and Lady Beckham in the next new years honours list.

I knopw it's been the subject of speculation in the past, but it appears that serious moves may be afoot this time.

It might be bolllocks of course, but it wouldn't surprise me the way the Beckhams have been brown-nosing the royals of late. Means to an end and all that. Posh would of course be made up and there'd be no stopping her then.

All I can say is that if it were to happen, the honours system would lose what little remaining credibility it has left.
