Jim Slip healthy sceptic

My dictionary lists a "sceptic" as someone who doubts what he is told, especially prevailing opinions. Recently on this site my associate, Mr Slip,
a man who I cross swords with on some issues but for whom I have the
deepest respect, gave links to a large number of websites that flounted
conventional opinion on such issues as the Twin Towers and death of Bin Laden.
So what do we now make of the Strauss-Kahn saga ? It seems that the
poor defenceless hotel maid has strange sums of money in her account, dealings with drug lords and has lied in the past about rape. Will the tale
lead, eventually, to the murky world of foreign espionage (as the French
Press have hinted, will it show that persons or countries unknown tried to
discredit Strauss-Kahn, to stop his good bid to be the next French President, to unsettle the euro...and much more ? It seems a saga truly
worthy of Jim Slip and it may yet reveal a can of worms !!

This saga will no doubt be worthy of a film, i expect the Hollywood writers are hard at it ready to start filming just as soon as this case falls apart, sex, politics and espionage what a great plot !wink!

Strange as it may seem, I think the Strauss-Kahn, was a power crazy, sexual predator who had got used to doing whatever he like, when he like, with whoever he liked and no more.

Actually, there probably is a conspiracy going on here. A conspiracy by the French aristocracy, newspaper proprietors,the French establishment and the rich, to protect, "One of their own". Their pathalogical hatred of all things American is well recorded.

Dear Frank, try putting yourself, as a hardened pornographer, in a situation where you have been forced to make an accusation against a so called, "Pillar of society!"

I find several things wrong with your scenario Jim. For starters I am not a
hardened pornographer. I am a cuddly elderly curmudgeon who has interests
far beyond the world of filth. Under another name you will find me on sale at
your local Waterstones ! Your premise that a) I would want to work as a
bellboy (the answer is never), or b) someone would wish to empploy me, at
my ancient age as a bellboy (they would need to be certified as insane) or
