I have no axe to grind against any particular Church or sect....but on an
historical note it was a good Catholic (some say a bishop, some Pope
Innocent himself) who demanded the complete annihilation of the
people of south-west France during the destruction of the Cathars
(their principal thing was to ordain women as priests). A British knight,
Simon de Montfort, asked how the killers would be able to tell a Catholic
from a Cathar ? Surely, the Pope did not expect the knights to kill the
whole population.
The good Catholic prelate replied: "Kill them all. Every man, woman and
child !! God will know his own !!"
Nice people those medieval Churchmen !

Funny innit. All sexual attacks against males, young and old, carried out by churchmen have been by Catholic priests. When CoE priests stray it is usually towards females.
The Catholic church has got to recognise that their celibacy vows have, I think, and I am probably not alone, brought them into this despicable disrepute. Is it the fact that the celibacy vows attract shirtlifters? Married ministers who stray tend not towards homos.

Reading Rodders post suggests that he was merely claiming that homosexual paedophiles are more commonly Catholic priests than CoE priests. I buy that without proof (I don't think the 2001 census would be of much help anyway) - simply because the job description of Catholic priesthood has a lot to offer for a budding homosexual paedo.
Though I have an issue with Rodders extended claim that the probability of CoE priests being homosexual paedos tends towards zero.
