I had the opportunity when working with her briefly a few years back to say how much I had enjoyed her performance in 'Walkabout'. She is still a little bemused by the effect it had on a generation of teenage boys at the time. There is now debate on another forum about her age at the time of shooting the film, although she was over-age when it was released in 1971.

They showed us that film in school (we were reading the book in English), I assume they were unaware of its content, but you can imagine how it went down in a room full of 14 year olds.

I was going to mention 'Wallkabout' but I was worried that she might have been about 14 or 15 when it was filmed and we'd all go to jail for even thinking about it etc, but it turns out she was about 19 when it was released. I remember being about 11 or 12 when I saw the trailer and cracking a fat within seconds as 'nudie chicks' were a very rare thing for me back then.
