Interesting reading if you have an enquiring mind. This in no way condones the double dealing, BP arse licking, New Labour crooks.( Just thought I'd put that in lol)

Re: Megrahi
If Megrahi had stayed in prison, the pressure for an appeal would have continued to grow until it could no longer be denied. As has already been mentioned, it has come to light that certain evidence was not made available to his defence team and they were in the process of building an appeal.
There is a suspicion amongst well-informed sources that there is yet more exculpatory evidence which could seriously embarrass both the US and British governments if it ever came to light.
The easiest solution was to let Megrahi out of prison on other grounds, so negating the need for an appeal. Of course, it makes the UK government look like cunts, but that's the price paid to the 'Merkins for not exposing their role in this. The Septics may shout and scream but, in return, BP gets to operate in Libya rather than a US oil firm getting the business.
And as for blaming the Labour party for letting him out, remember which party was in power when Megrahi was fitted up? I'll give you a clue: Maggie, Maggie, Maggie, Out! Out! Out!

I think Chomsky would be a bit too deep and impenetrable for the likes of yawnfuck... The Beano and Fox News seem about his level
