Typical history of internet forum:-
1. Forum starts with lots of interesting debate carried on by civil and polite members.
2. Forum expands with new members joining up.
3. Left-wing nutter joins and is horrified to find views other than their own being expressed, and worse, generating support!
4. Left-wing nutters spemd all day abusing and insulting anyone with different opinions.
5. Many members tire of the insults and abuse and leave.
6. Forum finishes up with 5 regular members who pounce on anyone who accidentally stumbles into the forum and dares to express a view contrary to the new manifesto.
7. Forum folds.
8. New forum starts elsewhere and the cycle repeats.

As an observation Deano, do you not think that your own views are just an eensy teensy bit biased?

There are no right wing nutters on this forum who regularly hammer immigrants, the unemployed, dole scroungers, supporters of foreign aid , bleeding heart liberals, people who oppose tax avoiders, those who believe the criminal justice system might get it wrong now and again, people who believe the police arent always entirely wonderful etc etc?

As you rightly imply, Jimbo does this most weeks and then returns after a day or so, totally ignoring the content of posts and spewing out insults.

100000-1 Jimbo admits that because David Johnson has frequently said that Tony Blair should be on trial at the Hague and that the Labour gov. made big mistakes over civil liberties, dealing with the banks, tax avoidance etc etc, he may have a more balanced view of that government than he (Jimbo) had previously suggested.

Million to 1 Jimbo admits he was totally wrong about Tony Blair and announces his intention to stand as a Labour MP in the forthcoming election.
