Makes me laugh, I had ?3 expenses last month (sarni, crisps and a bottle of water) and needed a manager and director to authorise them. No sigs no pay in my company.

My MP claimed just short of ?9000 expenses for the three months following the election.

To put this in perspective, that's double the amount a "scumbag" on incapacity benefit at TOP RATE gets in a year. For expenses.

If he carried on at that rate, he would be creaming ?36 000 in expenses from the taxpayer, plus his salary of nearly ?66 000 and allowances, which for 2009/10 were more than five grand. Those allowances included his Virgin tv bill.

On top of this, he is doing surveys for ComRes (lol) at ?75 a time and earned nearly two grand for 14 hours work "lecturing", as well as picking up ?150 for less than an hour's work for Ipsos MORI. He likes his surveys...

Nice job, being an MP.
