Pleurisy is an inflamation of the Pleural sac that surrounds the lungs. Therefore every inhalation and exhalation is agony. Believe me, I have suffered it and it aint funny.
Several years ago a Spontaneous Pneumothorax was cured by the induction of a false Pleurisy by the injection of a drug, silver nitrate which was used for the sterilisation of water. It was fucking agony, that I can state. I was drugged comatose for 24 hours because of the pain that he medical staff had induced to cure my problem.
