I think you've not had a good moan for a few weeks and you're itching to have a pop at some poor cunt or t'other.

If you think it's tedious you ought to listen to your own carping.

If one applies your logic one could ask if the UK banks shouldn't have made provision for a global recession. That will give you some idea how stupid the question is.

You've fallen for the Tory myth that there's no poor people and a life on benefits is a good lifestyle choice. Obviously people who live on about ?60 a week can afford to put ?20 a week away for winter heating, as well as buy all those fags, all that booze and drugs.

I think what is interesting is that that quango of toothless New Labour, so called, "Watch Dogs" OFGEM, have finally woken up and thought, "Oops, we better try to earn our mega salaries and spend the WHOLE of this winter "Investigating" our pals in the energy business and when it's too late and the British public have all been ripped off for ?billions, yet again, we'll issue a finding saying, "on balance pricing seems to be fair".

I say re-nationalise Gas, Electricity and water!!These should not be profitable concerns, you cannot have real competition with such things. Oh and for good measure line up the boards of directors of the present companies and shoot them!I am sure it would be quite easy to form a firing squad made up of disgruntled energy consumers. I do agree a firing squad of 150,000 seems a little excessive! But with the right organisation, I think everyone could get a shot in!

However, that's me, firm but fair!!

People have enough money to pay for heating in the winter, but you always get people on the TV and in the press each winter saying "there are people who are having to chose between heating and eating". I've always thought that if you live on ?20 a week then you will have to chose one or the other, but no one lives on that little money. People on the dole or pensioners have enough to pay for both, they just wont have much left over. And I saw on TV that there is the Winter Fuel Allowance and also people on Benefits get ?25 a week extra if the temperature drops below a certain level.

This really does piss my 83yo mother off big time! She and my late dad worked hard, invested in a pension, paid off their mortgage early thru sheer graft and have some money in the b society. And she pays for everything, no pension credits, no council tax discount etc yet her moaning mates twine that the government is screwing them. Hey what about the ?400 due for winter heating allowance? That should cover a freezing winter's bill and some more to waste down the bingo. Rant over!!
