Guantanamo compensation payouts

Post by Jonone »

This is unneccessary public expenditure as a consequence of people not doing their jobs properly & ensuring the law was upheld and the UK Gov't had clean hands.

People talk about the cost of this and that in terms of public expenditure but this was entirely avoidable. There should be dismissals and resignations over this.

This govewrnment should not pay one fucking penny to these fucking twattts. Whatever happened at Guantanamo undoubtedly led to the saving of lives in the States and here. Fuck em. They went to a war zone and were picked up for no other reason that they had no reason to be there and were suspected of aiding and abetting our enemies. Fuck em, let em rot in hell.
Those who condemn torture want to get their fucking heads right. Stretching some bastard on a rack as our forefathers did is torture. Waterboarding or whatever one wants to call it is fuckall compared to what happened in days of yore. Personall I would tie some twatt up by his thumds with his toes just touching the floor. He'd soon tell what I wanted to hear.

I omittede to add that whatever the bastards said would have to be verified and if proved false then back to square one until they told the truth.
There are also painfree methods of extracting information, but being a sadistic twatt who has been through the mill I prefer painful methods.
Only special people can resist for so long but, as our friends the Russians are fond of saying, eventuallly everyone breaks. It is just a matter of time. If results are required quickly then the interrogation needs to be "robust"

Rodders, what's been on the tv this weekend ? The championing of the dissident pro-democracy Burmese woman who was under house arrest for 7 years. The message is that government by the military is undemocratic and as such is a bad thing.

You then endorse methods that would be commonplace in a military dictatorship. Isn't democracy supposed to be better than that eg because there are 'checks and balances' to militate against the abuse of power ? You seem to not mind the abuse of power. This is worrying.

"There should be dismissals and resignations over this."

Yep, starting with David Milliband, Instead he was a whisker away from becoming the leader of the Labour party, only to be beaten by the union's oily rag. His brother.

If the security of this State is from the result of someone "interrogating" suspects robustly and passing on information then I have no problem with that.
These bastards were arrested in another country and interrogated in another country to that where they were arrested. Why the fuck then should this country pay the bastards compo for actions taken by another countries security services?
At times I honestly believe that this country could do with 5 years of Martial Law with our Sovereign ruling. Once the shyte has been cleaned out of society a new government could be convened.
I expect that there will be a lot of dissenters to my view, but hey, if you don't like it then I couldn't give a toss!!

I wonder how much of this money will be used to buy bomb making materials to kill and maim on the streets of Britain. Most of this Al-Queda and Taliban vermin are here as overstayers, asylum seekers, or similar. They despise this country and now they have got rich off of it.

It jeopardises security by radicalising people on the receiving end. You should put your weapons down for a couple of hours Rodders and watch a film called 'The White Ribbon'.
