MASTERCHEF - PROFESSIONALS - FINAL - MUSIC QUESTIO

Post by pj »

A long shot, but after Claire left the room (or was it before she went in) where all the professional chefs were eating the meals the 3 chefs prepared, what was the classical piece of music playing. It was quiet moving.

Thanks.

It's a shame the BBC have no truck with credit where it's due.

Didn't see it, but I know Sigur Ros has been used in the past ("Hoppipolla"), so it may have been that.

One reviewer said Mozart was used, the same as in Trading Places, so it'll have been "Overture - Marriage of Figaro" or "Andante Cantabile".

Or you may have heard an excerpt from a lovely song by The Cinematic Orchestra called "To Build a Home".

"Let's do it..."

I don't think (or at least I can't find ) the final episode on bbc iplayer. I'll youtube the pieces you mentioned later and get back to you.

It really was a beautiful piece.

Thanks all

Ok, DEFINITELY NOT "Overture - Marriage of Figaro". It was a slow moving piece.

Andante Cantabile kinda came close in parts at the start.

The Cinematic Orchestra - "To Build a Home " is not it, there was no piano.

Feck, wish bbc would write this kinds stuff in credits and there's no way to contact the show as far as I can see on bbc website.
